The legal department consists of two Japanese attorneys and two foreign legal assistants:
- Mr. Masahiko SUMIDA (Co-founder)
- Mr. Shinji SUMIDA
Mr. Masahiko TSUNODA is a graduate of Waseda University. Mr. Tsunoda was formerly a prosecuting attorney of the Tokyo District Office for more than six years before working with Shinozaki Yoshiaki Law Office and later, established the Tsunoda Law Office. Mr. TSUNODA thereafter joined this firm as a partner where he specializes in civil litigation and domestic real estate transactions. He also has extensive experience in the area of criminal law.
Mr. Shinji SUMIDA graduated from Waseda University and was admitted as an attorney in Japan in 2003. He joined Akasaka International Law, Patent & Accounting Office as a partner in October 2003. He has a good knowledge of English and is currently studying French.
As a consequence of AKASAKA INTERNATIONAL LAW, PATENT & ACCOUNTING OFFICE’s international orientation, two well-qualified foreign legal assistants assist the Japanese partners.
