The legal department consists of two Japanese attorneys and two foreign legal assistants:

- Mr. Shinji SUMIDA
Mr. Shinji SUMIDA is an attorney admitted in Japan in 2003. He graduated from Waseda University. He joined Akasaka International Law, Patent & Accounting Office as a partner in October 2003. In May 2006 he graduated with a Master of Law from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. He was appointed as an outside director of the Gaimu Seirekai Foundation in 2011. He is fluent in English and has a good command of French.

As a consequence of AKASAKA INTERNATIONAL LAW PATENT & ACCOUNTING OFFICE’s international orientation, for more than 15 years our firm has retained the services of a specialist in Common Law and a specialist in Continental law .
